Close Knit - The Art of the Gansey

As part of my research into this project I visited an exhibition at Hull Maritime Museum - Close Knit The Art of the Gansey. The exhibition looks at knitting traditions along the East Coast and the Humber Estuary as well as contemporary interpretations of Gansey designs by knitwear designers. The exhibit also features hats and garments made by Hull College Millinery and Fashion students which have been inspired by the knitwear on display.
